Distribution of new passports with Andhra Pradesh state emblem

Amaravati: The AP Revenue Department has made another crucial decision. New passports with the Andhra Pradesh state emblem will be distributed to farmers across the state. The Revenue Department has decided to distribute the new passports starting from April 1. In the 8,680 villages where land resurvey has been conducted, the passports issued under the names "Jagananna Permanent Land Rights" and "Bhuroksha" will be recalled. In their place, newly printed passports will be issued. Revenue Minister Anagani Sathya Prasad explained this to Chief Minister Chandrababu during a meeting of secretaries held on Tuesday.

It was mentioned that farmers are rejecting the passports with YS Jagan's photo, and by next month, the work of removing Jagan's images and names from the survey records will be completed. Minister Anagani also assured that the complaints received from the public at revenue meetings and meetings held in resurvey villages will be addressed by the end of this month. The special chief secretary of the department, R.P. Sisodia, mentioned that the Land Grabbing Prevention Act is under review by the central government. The CM has instructed that actions be taken to ensure the quick approval of the law by the center. He also stated that orders will soon be issued for the establishment of special task forces to investigate land-related irregularities.
