I will not enter politics in this life – Chiranjeevi

Megastar Chiranjeevi bids a permanent goodbye to politics. He clearly stated that he is permanently distancing himself from politics. Speaking at the pre-release event of Brahma Anandam, he revealed that from now on, he will be completely confined to the film industry. "I will stay away from politics in this life. I will not enter politics in this life," said Chiranjeevi. "From now on, I will dedicate my life to the service of the arts."

Recently, his meetings with political leaders and several prominent personalities had become controversial. Clarifying on this, Chiranjeevi said, "Some people are spreading rumors that I am trying to enter politics just because I met a few political leaders. But I met them only for the support required for the industry." He further emphasized that there is no doubt regarding his political journey.

Chiranjeevi, who established the Praja Rajyam Party in 2008 and later merged it with the Congress, stayed away from politics completely after 2014. He explained that his experiences during that time led him to the decision of not returning to politics. "I entered politics with the aim of serving the public. But the conditions there made me step back," he said.

Chiranjeevi also stated that his goals and service programs will be continued by Pawan Kalyan. "Pawan Kalyan is continuing in politics for public service. He will fulfill my aspirations. I will limit myself to serving the industry from now on," he mentioned. Though staying away from politics, Chiranjeevi assured that he would provide advice and support to Pawan Kalyan.

Chiranjeevi also spoke about his film career and future projects. He expressed that he will entertain his fans soon with new films. "Cinema is my life. I still have many good films to make in my career. That is my goal," he said. With this announcement, Chiranjeevi seems to have put an end to speculations about his re-entry into politics.
