The Char Dham Yatra is one of the most sacred pilgrimagesfor Hindus which covers four most famous temples in Uttarakhand. These four Dhams are: 

1. Yamunotri in Uttarkashi – Yamunotri is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. This temple is the first stop of the Char Dham Yatra which is also famous for its hot springs and spiritual significance. 

2. Gangotri in Uttarkashi – Gangotri temple is located in Uttarkashi. This temple is dedicated to sacred Ganga river which flow from the dreadlocks of Lord shiva.

3. Kedarnath in Rudraprayag – It is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas dedciated of Lord Shiva. Kedarnath is located in the Himalayas and it is one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in India. 

4. Badrinath in Chamoli – Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. After reaching Badrinath, your char dham yatra will end here. Devotees believed that Lord Vishnu still resides here.

Yamunotri & Gangotri – Open on May 10, 2025 (Akshaya Tritiya) and close on November 3, 2025 

Kedarnath – Opens on May 10, 2025, closes on November 3, 2025

Badrinath – Opens on May 11, 2025, closes on November 4, 2025
